New York High School Football - Mt. Vernon beaten by Jay

(October 27, 2007: Mt. Vernon, NY 10552) Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) fans left the game satisfied Saturday as they observed their football team run past the host Mt. Vernon Knights (Mt. Vernon, NY), 18-8 in a non-league test.

With the win, Jay improves its record to 7-1 on the season. The Indians travel to New Rochelle (New Rochelle, NY) to confront the Huguenots in a non-league test on Saturday, November 3. The Huguenots go into the test with a record of 8-0. New Rochelle won 42-0 in their recent non-league test against Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY)

With the loss, Mt. Vernon moves to 6-2 on the season.
