New York High School Volleyball - North Rockland over Ramapo

(October 7, 2008: Thiells, NY 10984) In Tuesday's league contest, the North Rockland Raiders (Thiells, NY) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Ramapo Gryphons (Spring Valley, NY), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Raiders battle the Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY) in a Section 1 Class AA - League B contest, on Friday, October 10. North Rockland will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Rams come into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY).

With the loss, Ramapo drops to 4-9 on the campaign. The Gryphons travel to Pearl River (Pearl River, NY) to battle the Pirates in a non-league contest on Friday, October 10. The Pirates come into the contest with a record of 3-9. Pearl River won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Nanuet (Nanuet, NY)
