New York High School Soccer - Panas held off by Brewster

(September 24, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) The crowd at Wednesday's league outing between the Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) and the host Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY), saw Brewster's soccer squad nudge Panas by a margin of 1-0.

The Bears now hold a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fox Lane for a Conference 2 Central League outing on Thursday, September 25. Brewster will play a Foxes squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY). The Foxes record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Panas drops to 0-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hudson (Montrose, NY) to play the Sailors in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Sailors come into the outing with a record of 1-4. Hudson lost 6-0 in their recent league outing against Jay (Cross River, NY)
