(October 18, 2008: Peekskill, NY 10566) The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the Poughkeepsie Pioneers (Poughkeepsie, NY) and the host Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY), observed Poughkeepsie's football team run past Peekskill by a final score of 34-6.

With the win, Poughkeepsie improves its record to 4-3 on the season. The Pioneers travel to Somers (Lincolndale, NY) to confront the Tuskers in a non-league test on Friday, October 24. The Tuskers go into the test with a record of 7-0. Somers won 49-14 in their recent league test against Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY)

With the loss, Peekskill moves to 1-6 on the season.
