New York High School Basketball - Yorktown trounced by Mt. Vernon

(February 15, 2008: Mt. Vernon, NY 10552) The Mt. Vernon Knights routed the visiting Yorktown Huskers basketball team by a final score of 84-47 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Knights face the Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 20. Mt. Vernon will attempt to move on its 20-1 season record. The Mounties enter the game with a 14-7 record after their 56-47 non-league win over Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY).

With the defeat, Yorktown moves to 10-12 on the year.
