New York High School Basketball - Edgemont topples Eastchester

(January 26, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) In Saturday's league outing, the Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY), by a count of 57-37.

The Panthers (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Rye (Rye, NY). The Garnets go into the Section 1 III - B outing with a 8-8 record. In their last outing, Rye gained a win over Ardsley (Ardsley, NY), 42-35, in a league outing.

The Eagles now have a 1-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pelham Memorial for a Section 1 III - B match on Monday, January 28. Eastchester will face a Pelicans team coming off a 67-55 league loss to Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Pelicans record now stands at 9-6.
