GAME SUMMARY

New York High School Volleyball - Jay over Brewster

(October 17, 2008: Brewster, NY 10509) The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) and the host Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY), saw Jay's volleyball squad beat Brewster by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Jay upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Greeley (Chappaqua, NY) to play the Quakers in a Section 1 Class A - League B bout on Monday, October 20. The Quakers go into the bout with a record of 3-10. Greeley lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Somers (Lincolndale, NY)

The Bears now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Dover for a non-league bout on Monday, October 20.
