New York High School Soccer - Nanuet held off by Magnus

(September 19, 2008: Bardonia, NY 10954) The crowd at Friday's league outing between the Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) and the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY), saw Magnus's soccer squad nudge Nanuet by a margin of 3-2.

The Falcons now hold a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pearl River for a Conference 3 League C outing on Tuesday, September 23. Magnus will play a Pirates squad coming off a 2-2 league Irvington (Irvington, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 5-0.

With the loss, Nanuet drops to 6-2 on the season. The Golden knights travel to Sleepy Hollow (Sleepy Hollow, NY) to play the Horsemen in a Conference 3 League C outing on Saturday, September 20. The Horsemen come into the outing with a record of 1-2. Sleepy Hollow 0-0 in their recent league outing against Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY)
