GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Irvington can't hold off Nanuet

(September 25, 2008: Nanuet, NY 10954) In Thursday's league battle, the host Nanuet Golden Knights volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Irvington Bulldogs.

The Golden Knights (1-7) will now prepare for their battle against Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY). The Dutchmen come into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Tappan Zee nudged Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs clash with the Magnus Falcons (Bardonia, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League C battle, on Friday, October 3. Irvington will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 6-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Tappan Zee (Orangeburg, NY).
