New York High School Basketball - Irvington edges Nanuet

(February 1, 2008: Irvington, NY 10533) The Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY), 48-46 in Friday's league test.

The Bulldogs (12-4) will now prepare for their test against Westlake (Thornwood, NY). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 5-12 record. In their last test, Westlake was tipped by Lincoln Hall (Lincolndale, NY), 48-47, in a league test.

The Golden Knights now own a 7-11 record. They take the field next when they host Sleepy Hollow for a Section 1 III - C test on Tuesday, February 5. Nanuet will clash with a Horsemen squad coming off a 48-46 league loss to Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY). The Horsemen record now stands at 6-12.
