New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff edges Hoosic Valley

(March 15, 2008: Schaghticoke, NY 12154) The Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY) basketball nipped the host Hoosic Valley Indians (Schaghticoke, NY), 49-43 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Bears (26-1) will now prepare for their test against Fieldston (Bronx, NY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 16-7 record. In their last test, Fieldston got by Riverdale Country (Bronx, NY), 46-32, in a non-league test.

The Indians now own a 27-1 record.
