(December 14, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10703) Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY) and the host Sacred Heart Irish (Yonkers, NY), saw Yonkers's basketball squad hold off Sacred Heart by a count of 62-56.

With the victory, Yonkers upgrades its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Irvington (Irvington, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 18. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Irvington lost 64-58 in their recent non-league challenge against Hastings (Hastings on Hudson, NY)

Next up, the Irish play the St. Agnes Stags (New York, NY) in a Catholic B challenge, on Tuesday, December 18. Sacred Heart will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Stags come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 51-49 non-league win over Collegiate (New York, NY).
