New York High School Soccer - Putnam Valley Panas

(September 27, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) The Panas Panthers the visiting Putnam Valley Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league match.

The Panthers now hold a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Conference 2 Central League match on Thursday, October 2. Panas will play a Hornets squad coming off a 1-0 league win over Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY). The Hornets record now stands at 5-3.

With the loss, Putnam Valley drops to 1-8 on the season. The Tigers host Nanuet (Nanuet, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a Conference 3 League C match on Friday, October 3. The Golden Knights come into the match with a record of 10-0. Nanuet won 3-2 in their recent league match against Magnus (Bardonia, NY)
