New York High School Basketball - Clark Academy nips Valhalla

(January 2, 2008: Greenburgh, NY ) Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Clark Academy Knights (Greenburgh, NY) and the visiting Valhalla Vikings (Valhalla, NY), saw Clark Academy's basketball squad hold off Valhalla by a score of 58-53.

With the victory, Clark Academy improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Bronxville (Bronxville, NY) to battle the Broncos in a Section 1 IV - B challenge on Tuesday, January 8. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Bronxville lost 65-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Blessed Sacrament St. Gabriel (New Rochelle, NY)

Next up, the Vikings battle the Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 8. Valhalla will attempt to improve on its 4-6 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 58-54 league loss to Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY).
