New York High School Basketball - Edgemont overwhelmed by Woodlands

(January 30, 2008: Hartsdale, NY 10530) The Woodlands Falcons basketball team scored 76 points and restricted the visiting Edgemont Panthers to 45 in the Falcons non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Falcons now sport a 14-2 record. They play next when they host Eastchester for a Section 1 III - B contest on Friday, February 1. Woodlands will meet a Eagles team coming off a 55-35 league loss to Rye (Rye, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 1-15.

The Panthers (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY). The Pelicans come into the Section 1 III - B contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Pelham Memorial was routed by Ardsley (Ardsley, NY), 46-35, in a league contest.
