New York High School Basketball - Panas trounced by Peekskill

(January 31, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) The Peekskill Red Devils routed the host Panas Panthers basketball team by a tally of 72-51 in Thursday's league battle.

The Red Devils now sport a 17-0 record. They play next when they travel to Our Lady of Lourdes for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 5. Peekskill will meet a Warriors team coming off a 50-49 non-league loss to Magnus (Bardonia, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 8-5.

The Panthers (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 12-4 record. In their last battle, Lakeland triumphed over Somers (Lincolndale, NY), 72-44, in a league battle.
