(January 30, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY) and the visiting Rye Garnets (Rye, NY), saw Eastchester's basketball squad knock off Rye by a score of 69-55.

With the victory, Eastchester improves its record to 14-4 on the campaign. The Eagles host Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY) to battle the Falcons in a Section 1 III - B challenge on Friday, February 1. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Woodlands lost 84-63 in their recent league challenge against Ardsley (Ardsley, NY)

Next up, the Garnets battle the Yonkers Bulldogs (Yonkers, NY) in a Section 1 III - B challenge, on Friday, February 1. Rye will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 8-9 record after their 50-46 league loss to Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY).
