(September 12, 2008: White Plains, NY 10605) The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) and the visiting Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), saw White Plains's volleyball squad beat Carmel by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, White Plains upgrades its record to 2-0 on the year. The Tigers host North Rockland (Thiells, NY) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 3-0. North Rockland won 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY)

The Rams now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greeley for a non-league bout on Monday, September 15. Carmel will play a Quakers squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Yonkers (Yonkers, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 1-1.
