New York High School Basketball - Webutuck falls to Dover

(January 2, 2008: Dover Plains, NY 12522) Dover Dragons (Dover Plains, NY) followers exited the stadium happy Wednesday as they observed their basketball team defeat the visiting Webutuck Warriors (Amenia, NY), 47-35 in a non-league contest.

The Dragons now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haldane for a Section 1 IV - C contest on Friday, January 4. Dover will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 49-37 non-league win over Dobbs Ferry (Dobbs Ferry, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 7-0.

Coming up next, the Warriors confront the Coleman Catholic Statesmen (Hurley, NY) in a Section 9 Mid Hudson IV contest, on Friday, January 4. Webutuck will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Statesmen enter the contest with a 7-0 record after their 45-37 non-league win over Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY).
