New York High School Basketball - Eastchester can't hold off Ardsley

(January 14, 2008: Eastchester, NY 10709) The Ardsley Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Eastchester Eagles to 58 in the Panthers league triumph on Monday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edgemont for a Section 1 III - B contest on Wednesday, January 16. Ardsley will meet a Panthers team coming off a 52-44 league win over Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 4-7.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Tuckahoe (Eastchester, NY). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Tuckahoe nudged Leake-Watts (Yonkers, NY), 55-49, in a league contest.
