New York High School Football - Our Lady of Lourdes drops to Jay

(September 13, 2008: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) In Saturday's league game, the Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) football team knocked off the host Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors (Poughkeepsie, NY), by a final score of 35-12.

The Indians (2-0) will now prepare for their game against Brewster (Brewster, NY). The Bears come into the Section 1 A - North game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Brewster was dropped by Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY), 34-0, in a non-league game.

The Warriors now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearl River for a non-league game on Saturday, September 20. Our Lady of Lourdes will battle a Pirates team coming off a 43-0 league loss to Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY). The Pirates record now stands at 1-1.
