New York High School Volleyball - Tappan Zee over Spring Valley

(September 26, 2008: Orangeburg, NY 10962) The Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) volleyball overcame the visiting Spring Valley Tigers (Spring Valley, NY), 3-0 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Tappan Zee upgrades its record to 5-2 on the year. The Dutchmen travel to Nanuet (Nanuet, NY) to play the Golden Knights in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 27. The Golden Knights go into the outing with a record of 1-7. Nanuet won 3-2 in their recent league outing against Irvington (Irvington, NY)

The Tigers now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Port Chester for a Section 1 Class A - League C outing on Thursday, October 2. Spring Valley will play a Rams squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY). The Rams record now stands at 0-6.
