New York High School Basketball - Greeley winner over Somers

(December 12, 2007: Lincolndale, NY 10540) In Wednesday's league outing, the Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY) basketball squad knocked off the host Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY), by a margin of 57-43.

The Quakers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY). The Huskers go into the Section 1 II - Central outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Yorktown topped Poughkeepsie (Poughkeepsie, NY), 54-40, in a non-league outing.

The Tuskers now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nanuet for a non-league outing on Monday, December 17. Somers will clash with a Golden Knights squad coming off a 56-35 non-league win over Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY). The Golden Knights record now stands at 3-0.
