New York High School Basketball - Nyack nips Peekskill

(December 4, 2007: Upper Nyack, NY 10960) Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nyack Indians (Upper Nyack, NY) and the visiting Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY), saw Nyack's basketball squad hold off Peekskill by a score of 43-40.

With the victory, Nyack improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Indians host Byram Hills (Armonk, NY) to battle the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 6. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Byram Hills lost 33-32 in their recent non-league challenge against Pelham Memorial (Pelham, NY)

Next up, the Red Devils battle the Port Chester Rams (Port Chester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 10. Peekskill will attempt to improve on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 71-37 non-league loss to Byram Hills (Armonk, NY).
