(January 11, 2008: Pleasantville, NY 10570) The Briarcliff Bears crushed the host Pleasantville Panthers basketball squad by a margin of 58-33 in Friday's league test.

Next, the Bears clash with the Eastchester Eagles (Eastchester, NY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 12. Briarcliff will attempt to advance on its 12-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 1-9 record after their 55-20 league loss to Rye (Rye, NY).

The Panthers now own a 1-10 record. They take the field next when they host Putnam Valley for a Section 1 III - A test on Monday, January 14. Pleasantville will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 42-31 non-league win over Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 5-8.
