New York High School Basketball - Ketcham falls to Jay

(January 17, 2008: Hopewell Junction, NY 12533) The Jay Patriots basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Ketcham Indians to 50 in the Patriots league triumph on Thursday.

The Patriots now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Rockland for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 19. Jay will meet a Raiders team coming off a 63-44 league win over Ramapo (Spring Valley, NY). The Raiders record now stands at 6-6.

The Indians (6-7) will now prepare for their bout against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY). The Admirals come into the Section 1 I - C bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Arlington was knocked off by Our Lady of Lourdes (Poughkeepsie, NY), 43-38, in a league bout.
