GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Jay tips Lakeland

(September 16, 2008: Shrub Oak, NY 10588) Jay Indians (Cross River, NY) supporters left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Indians clash with the Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League B match, on Thursday, September 18. Jay will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Tuskers come into the match with a 2-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY).

With the loss, Lakeland drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Brewster (Brewster, NY) to clash with the Bears in a Section 1 Class A - League B match on Thursday, September 18. The Bears come into the match with a record of 4-0. Brewster won 3-0 in their recent league match against Greeley (Chappaqua, NY)
