New York High School Basketball - Ketcham holds off Carmel

(January 15, 2008: Wappingers Falls, NY 12590) Ketcham Indians (Wappingers Falls, NY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), 57-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Ketcham upgrades its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY) to play the Patriots in a Section 1 I - C bout on Thursday, January 17. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Jay lost 58-52 in their recent league bout against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY)

Next up, the Rams play the Arlington Admirals (LaGrangeville, NY) in a Section 1 I - C bout, on Thursday, January 17. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Admirals come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 58-52 league win over Jay (Hopewell Junction, NY).
