(December 17, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10705) The Edgemont Panthers overcame the host Leake-Watts Lions basketball squad by a score of 39-21 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sleepy Hollow for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 19. Edgemont will battle a Horsemen squad coming off a 55-48 non-league loss to Byram Hills (Armonk, NY). The Horsemen record now stands at 3-5.

Next up, the Lions battle the Pawling Tigers (Pawling, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 5. Leake-Watts will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
