New York High School Basketball - Edgemont tipped by Dover

(February 2, 2008: Dover Plains, NY 12522) In Saturday's non-league match, the host Dover Dragons basketball team scored a tight 55-48 triumph over the Edgemont Panthers.

In their next game, the Dragons confront the Pawling Tigers (Pawling, NY) in a Section 1 IV - C match, on Tuesday, February 5. Dover will attempt to move on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 5-9 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Blind Brook (Rye Brook, NY).

With the defeat, Edgemont moves to 11-7 on the year. The Panthers host Woodlands (Hartsdale, NY) to confront the Falcons in a Section 1 III - B match on Tuesday, February 5. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 15-2.
