New York High School Football - Yorktown victorious over Greeley

(September 19, 2008: Yorktown Heights, NY 10598) The Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) football overcame the visiting Greeley Quakers (Chappaqua, NY), 35-14 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Huskers face the Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) in a Section 1 A - Central bout, on Saturday, September 27. Yorktown will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 1-2 record after their 47-6 league loss to Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY).

The Quakers (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Jay (Cross River, NY). The Indians enter the Section 1 A - North bout with a 2-1 record. In their last bout, Jay was toppled by Brewster (Brewster, NY), 26-21, in a league bout.
