New York High School Basketball - Briarcliff trounces Byram Hills

(January 28, 2008: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) The Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY) basketball crushed the visiting Byram Hills Bobcats (Armonk, NY), 67-30 in Monday's league test.

The Bears (17-1) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Gaels go into the Section 1 III - A test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Kennedy Catholic walloped Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY), 58-41, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Croton-Harmon for a Section 1 III - A test on Wednesday, January 30. Byram Hills will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 47-44 league win over Pleasantville (Pleasantville, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-16.
