New York High School Basketball - Clinton ripped by Gorton

(January 16, 2008: Bronx, NY 10468) In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Gorton Wolves basketball squad scored a big 82-60 victory over the Clinton Governors.

With the victory, Gorton improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Roosevelt (Yonkers, NY) to play the Indians in a Section 1 I - D challenge on Friday, January 25. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 12-2. Roosevelt won 81-57 in their recent league challenge against Saunders Trades & Tech (Yonkers, NY)

Next up, the Governors play the Wadleigh Harlem Hellfighters (New York, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 18. Clinton will attempt to improve on its 1-13 season record. The Harlem Hellfighters come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 66-61 league win over Urban Peace Academy (New York, NY).
