GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Panas can't hold off Lakeland

(September 11, 2008: Shrub Oak, NY 10588) In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Lakeland Hornets volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Panas Panthers.

The Hornets (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Jay (Cross River, NY). The Indians come into the Section 1 Class A - League B battle with a 1-1 record. In their last battle, Jay was edged by Hudson (Montrose, NY), 3-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Panthers clash with the Peekskill Red Devils (Peekskill, NY) in a Section 1 Class A - League A battle, on Tuesday, September 16. Panas will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Harrison (Harrison, NY).
