New York High School Basketball - Tappan Zee routs Harrison

(January 9, 2008: Orangeburg, NY 10962) In Wednesday's league outing, the Tappan Zee Dutchmen (Orangeburg, NY) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Harrison Huskies (Harrison, NY), by a margin of 88-67.

The Dutchmen (7-2) will now prepare for their outing against Nyack (Upper Nyack, NY). The Indians go into the Section 1 II - South outing with a 5-8 record. In their last outing, Nyack was trounced by Pearl River (Pearl River, NY), 67-55, in a non-league outing.

The Huskies now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they host Port Chester for a Section 1 II - South outing on Friday, January 11. Harrison will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 85-62 league win over Spring Valley (Spring Valley, NY). The Rams record now stands at 6-5.
