New York High School Basketball - Edgemont over Pelham Memorial

(January 10, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The Edgemont Panthers overcame the visiting Pelham Memorial Pelicans basketball squad by a score of 52-34 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Panthers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam Valley for a non-league challenge on Friday, January 11. Edgemont will battle a Tigers squad coming off a 39-36 league loss to Byram Hills (Armonk, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.

Next up, the Pelicans battle the Rye Garnets (Rye, NY) in a Section 1 III - B challenge, on Wednesday, January 16. Pelham Memorial will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Garnets come into the challenge with a 6-7 record after their 55-20 league win over Eastchester (Eastchester, NY).
