GAME SUMMARY
New York High School Volleyball - Lakeland over Somers

(September 22, 2008: Lincolndale, NY 10540) The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Lakeland Hornets (Shrub Oak, NY) and the host Somers Tuskers (Lincolndale, NY), saw Lakeland's volleyball squad beat Somers by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Lakeland upgrades its record to 7-1 on the year. The Hornets host Harrison (Harrison, NY) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 23. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 3-3. Harrison lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rye Neck (Mamaroneck, NY)

The Tuskers now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Greeley for a Section 1 Class A - League B bout on Wednesday, September 24. Somers will play a Quakers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Fox Lane (Bedford, NY). The Quakers record now stands at 2-4.
