New York High School Basketball - Edgemont edges Byram Hills

(January 23, 2008: Scarsdale, NY 10583) The Edgemont Panthers (Scarsdale, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Byram Hills Bobcats (Armonk, NY), 50-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.

The Panthers (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Eastchester (Eastchester, NY). The Eagles go into the Section 1 III - B test with a 1-12 record. In their last test, Eastchester was tipped by Edgemont (Scarsdale, NY), 50-36, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pleasantville for a Section 1 III - A test on Friday, January 25. Byram Hills will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 58-45 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Panthers record now stands at 2-12.
