New York High School Basketball - Greeley crushes Jay

(January 9, 2008: Chappaqua, NY 10514) The Greeley Quakers basketball squad scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Jay Indians to 36 in the Quakers league victory on Wednesday.

The Quakers (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY). The Hornets come into the Section 1 II - Central bout with a 3-5 record. In their last bout, Lakeland overwhelmed Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY), 43-25, in a non-league bout.

The Indians (4-4) will now prepare for their bout against Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Tuskers come into the Section 1 II - Central bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Somers overwhelmed Yorktown (Yorktown Heights, NY), 50-49, in a league bout.
