New York High School Football - Our Lady of Lourdes nips Poughkeepsie

(October 11, 2008: Poughkeepsie, NY 12603) In Saturday's league match, the visiting Our Lady of Lourdes Warriors football squad scored a close 28-27 victory over the Poughkeepsie Pioneers.

In their next game, the Warriors clash with the Brewster Bears (Brewster, NY) in a Section 1 A - North match, on Friday, October 17. Our Lady of Lourdes will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Bears enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 34-14 league win over Greeley (Chappaqua, NY).

The Pioneers (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Peekskill (Peekskill, NY). The Red Devils enter the non-league match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Peekskill was nudged by Panas (Cortlandt Manor, NY), 34-12, in a league match.
