New York High School Basketball - Yonkers ripped by Hastings

(December 4, 2007: Yonkers, NY 10705) The Hastings Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 85 points and held the host Yonkers Bulldogs to 39 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Children's Village for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 6. Hastings will meet a team coming off a 58-48 non-league loss to Dover (Dover Plains, NY). The record now stands at 0-1.

The Bulldogs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Schechter (Hartsdale, NY). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Schechter trounced Haldane (Cold Spring, NY), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
