New York High School Basketball - Kennedy Catholic prevails Carmel

(December 8, 2007: Carmel, NY 10512) Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carmel Rams (Carmel, NY), 56-42 in a non-league bout.

The Gaels now hold a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Croton-Harmon for a Section 1 III - A bout on Monday, December 17. Kennedy Catholic will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 46-33 non-league loss to Ardsley (Ardsley, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-4.

Next up, the Rams encounter the White Plains Tigers (White Plains, NY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 11. Carmel will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 46-30 non-league win over Rye (Rye, NY).
