New York High School Basketball - Irvington trounces Putnam Valley

(December 17, 2007: Putnam Valley, NY 10579) The Irvington Bulldogs (Irvington, NY) basketball crushed the host Putnam Valley Tigers (Putnam Valley, NY), 61-34 in Monday's non-league test.

The Bulldogs (6-1) will now prepare for their test against Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Gaels go into the non-league test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Kennedy Catholic walloped Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY), 67-28, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Croton-Harmon for a Section 1 III - A test on Wednesday, December 19. Putnam Valley will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 67-28 league loss to Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 1-5.
