New York High School Basketball - Yonkers ripped by Ardsley

(January 18, 2008: Ardsley, NY 10502) The Ardsley Panthers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Yonkers Bulldogs to 49 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tappan Zee for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 22. Ardsley will confront a Dutchmen team coming off a 74-62 non-league loss to Magnus (Bardonia, NY). The Dutchmen record now stands at 8-5.

The Bulldogs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Yonkers, NY). The Irish enter the non-league game with a 1-9 record. In their last game, Sacred Heart was ripped by Salesian (New Rochelle, NY), 70-63, in a league game.
