New York High School Basketball - Suffern thwarts Gorton

(February 15, 2008: Suffern, NY 10901) The Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) basketball felled the visiting Gorton Wolves (Yonkers, NY), 50-38 in Friday's non-league test.

The Mounties (13-8) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, NY). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 18-3 record. In their last test, Mt. Vernon defeated Lincoln (Yonkers, NY), 96-53, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 13-8 record.
