New York High School Basketball - Sleepy Hollow holds off Nanuet

(January 14, 2008: Sleepy Hollow, NY 10591) Sleepy Hollow Horsemen (Sleepy Hollow, NY) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Nanuet Golden Knights (Nanuet, NY), 48-45 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sleepy Hollow upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Horsemen travel to Magnus (Bardonia, NY) to play the Falcons in a Section 1 III - C bout on Wednesday, January 16. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 5-6. Magnus lost 53-42 in their recent league bout against Irvington (Irvington, NY)

Next up, the Golden Knights play the Hastings Yellow Jackets (Hastings on Hudson, NY) in a Section 1 III - C bout, on Wednesday, January 16. Nanuet will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 56-48 league loss to Pearl River (Pearl River, NY).
