New York High School Basketball - Suffern over Clarkstown North

(January 31, 2008: Suffern, NY 10901) Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Suffern Mounties (Suffern, NY) and the visiting Clarkstown North Rams (New City, NY), saw Suffern's basketball squad knock off Clarkstown North by a score of 63-52.

With the victory, Suffern improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to Clarkstown South (West Nyack, NY) to battle the Vikings in a Section 1 I - B challenge on Wednesday, February 6. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Clarkstown South lost 45-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Gorton (Yonkers, NY)

Next up, the Rams battle the Clarkstown South Vikings (West Nyack, NY) in a Section 1 I - B challenge, on Saturday, February 2. Clarkstown North will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 9-8 record after their 59-45 league loss to North Rockland (Thiells, NY).
