New York High School Volleyball - Kennedy Catholic over Briarcliff

(September 23, 2008: Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510) In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Kennedy Catholic Gaels (Somers, NY) volleyball squad were winner over the host Briarcliff Bears (Briarcliff Manor, NY), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Gaels battle the Pleasantville Panthers (Pleasantville, NY) in a Section 1 Class B - League A contest, on Thursday, September 25. Kennedy Catholic will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY).

With the loss, Briarcliff moves to 2-4 on the year. The Bears travel to Westlake (Thornwood, NY) to battle the Wildcats in a Section 1 Class B - League A contest on Thursday, September 25. The Wildcats go into the contest with a record of 7-1. Westlake won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Putnam Valley (Putnam Valley, NY)
