New York High School Football - Panas crushed by Yorktown

(October 3, 2008: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567) In Friday's league game, the Yorktown Huskers (Yorktown Heights, NY) football team smashed the host Panas Panthers (Cortlandt Manor, NY), by a final score of 48-0.

The Huskers (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Hudson (Montrose, NY). The Sailors come into the Section 1 A - Central game with a 3-2 record. In their last game, Hudson overwhelmed Lakeland (Shrub Oak, NY), 24-20, in a league game.

The Panthers now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Peekskill for a Section 1 A - Central game on Friday, October 10. Panas will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 63-8 league loss to Somers (Lincolndale, NY). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-4.
