New York High School Football - Monroe-Woodbury defeats North Rockland

(September 8, 2007: Thiells, NY 10984) In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders football squad scored a good 31-10 victory over the North Rockland Raiders.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) in a Section 9 AA-I match, on Saturday, September 15. Monroe-Woodbury will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 41-0 non-league loss to Chaminade (Mineola, NY).

With the loss, North Rockland drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Clarkstown North (New City, NY) to confront the Rams in a Section 1 AA - West test on Saturday, September 15. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-0. Clarkstown North won 28-7 in their recent non-league test against Arlington (LaGrangeville, NY)
